Last month, Heng Zhao's paper titled "n-p Heterojunction of TiO2-NiO core-shell structure for efficient hydrogen generation and lignin photoreforming" was accepted in J. Colloid Interface Sci. Xinxing Wu's paper was also accepted in ACS Sustainable Chem. Eng. In his work, he demonstrates a potential pathway of biomass photorefinery (PR) using low-cost CoO/g-C3N4 catalysts for the coproduction of hydrogen and lactic acid under visible light illumination.
